PFF officials Reached New Delhi, India to attend AFC KICK OFF Regional Workshop – Central and South

A 2 members delegation of Pakistan Football Federation consisting of Shahid Khokhar Manager Club Development & Media, PFF and Fahad Khan Manager Marketing & Integrity PFF have reached New Delhi, India to attend AFC KICK OFF Regional Workshop – Central and South. The workshop will be held from 29-30 Oct at Hotel Lemeridien, New Delhi, India in which “AFC KICK OFF” officials from 13 countries Including Pakistan Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, IR Iran, Kyrgyzstan, Maldives, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan are participating.

“AFC KICK OFF” programme is specifically designed to further develop and transform the league of any country which is a part of this valuable programme from non professional to semi-professional and then a fully professional league and in case of Pakistan, amongst the other important merits, the ultimate aim of this programme is to bring improvement in Pakistan Premier League to a level where it can be transformed into a professional league.

Makhdoom Faisal Saleh Hayat President PFF has praised the efforts of Asian Football Confederation it is making for the development of football in whole Asia, “AFC KICK OFF programme can bring fundamental necessary changes in the development of football in Asia. Pakistan is one of the countries in Asia which can be fully benefitted from this programme” Faisal said. He also appreciated the support and assistance being provided by the AFC for this project “AFC is fully supporting Pakistan through this programme to transform its top league into a professional league” Faisal added

Lt. Col. Retd. Ahmed Yar Khan Lodhi has said that PFF is proud that mainly due to the efforts of Makhdoom Faisal Saleh Hayat, Pakistan is a part of such important AFC KICK OFF programme. “It is a matter of pride for us to be the member of this prestigious initiative of AFC”, Lodhi said. Talking about the workshop being held in New Delhi by Asian Football Confederation he said that no doubt it is very beneficial “It will be a wonderful learning opportunity for the PFF officials participating in the AFC Regional KICK OFF Workshop through the wide ranged interaction between 13 countries of Asia” Lodhi added

Meanwhile when reached New Delhi, Shahid Khokhar Manager Club Development & Media .PFF, has said that AFC KICK OFF programme is exceptionally vital for the growth of football in Pakistan “AFC KICK OFF Programme is very vital for the development of football in Pakistan as it specifically focuses Pakistan Premier League”.” Shahid said, “This is highly encouraging and we should take full advantage of AFC’s interest in the promotion of our Football League” Shahid added. He further said that it is extremely unfortunate for the football players and Milliions of football fans in Pakistan that the 12th Edition of Pakistan Premier League 2015 is still pending due to the reasons known by everyone concerned with Football, “as one of the responsible PFF officials to promote Pakistan Premier Football League, I am eagerly waiting the launch of PPL pending season by PFF” he further added.
