FIFA Recognizes PFF Changla Gali Elections

FIFA only recognizes Faisal Saleh Hayat as PFF Chief and executive Committee elected on 30th June said by Marco Villiger Acting Deputy Secretary General FIFA

FIFA has clearly recognized the PFF election held on 30th June, 2015 at Chhangla Gali in which Makhdoom Syed Faisal Saleh Hayat was elected the President of Pakistan Football Federation for the term 2015-2019.

FIFA has strongly rejected Arshad Lodhi Group’s all self assumed claims and objections they raised over the PFF elections on 30th June.

“With regard to the current situation of the PFF, FIFA is bound by the decision taken by its executive committee on 25 September 2015 and will focus on its full implementation” said by Mr. Marco Villiger Acting Deputy Secretary General FIFA”.

FIFA through its letter addressed to Arshad Khan Lodhi has taken a very clear stance about the PFF Elections held on 30 June, 2015 at Chhangla Gali validating the same. “In particular, the FIFA executive committee decided that Mr. Makhdoom Syed Faisal Saleh Hayat and the remaining PFF Executive Committee members who stood for election on 30 June 2015 are recognized as the PFF office holders for a two-year period”

FIFA’s letter has also very strongly demanded the illegal occupants/Arshad Lodhi Group to vacate the occupation of PFF Football House/PFF Headquarters and return it back to the legal PFF body led by Makhdoom Faisal Saleh Hayat “the occupation of PFF premises is deemed illegal and they must be returned to the leadership recognized by the FIFA Executive Committee” Mr. Marco Villiger further said in the letter.

Makhdoom Syed Faisal Saleh Hayat President PFF has congratulated the football family of Pakistan “truth has prevailed and football of Pakistan has won, on this historic occasion, I congratulate football family of Pakistan consisting of Millions of Football Players, technical officials and fans of the game” Faisal said. “I also express my gratitude to all sympathizers who came forward to save the future of Millions young football players of Pakistan and the game itself” he added.

Lt. Col. Retd. Ahmed Yar Khan Lodhi General Secretary PFF has also expressed his deep feelings of happiness reiterating the will of PFF to take the football of Pakistan to new heights “we are contented with this latest development which will consequently result in the resumption of stopped football activities in Pakistan due to which the game has already suffered a lot in the country” Lodhi.
