AFC Kick Off Programme - Pakistan

With the phenomenal and rapid changes in football taking place throughout the world, especially if the football leagues and clubs development are taken into account, PFF like many other football governing bodies of their respective countries also have to comply with the situation. Providing the solution to many problems in the way of doing so AFC under the guidelines of FIFA has designed and launched a comprehensive project named as AFC KICK OFF Programme. The basic concept of this programme is "Strengthen the Member Associations by improving the level of league & club management"

The core of this vital initiative remains the same throughout the Asia while seeking the remedies to the issues on regional and country to country basis at the same time.

AFC Kick Off Programme has been instigated in Pakistan through a detailed joint study of the structure of football in Pakistan by AFC and PFF for which FIFA & AFC held several visits to PFF to take all the stakeholders on board. A number of difference making steps are being taken in the days to come to transform the present semi-commercial Pakistan Premier Football League (PPFL) into a fully commercial league through extensive marketing strategies and planning. Development of PPFL clubs is the other merit of the project.

In this regard two officials of PFF on its recommendation have been appointed to run the AFC Kick Off project in Pakistan consisting of Mr. Muhammad Shahid Niaz Khokhar as Manager Club Development & Media & Mr. Fahad Ayaz Khan as Manager Marketing & Integrity.
