PFF Referee Criterias
FIFA Referee

Age:  25-38 years

Educational Qualification:  FA & BA (preference given to higher education), good communication skill, Computer knowledge

Sports Qualification/Courses:  National A grade and FIFA MA course, International physical fitness test, Medical Fitness Exam

Skill/Experience:  good refereeing record in last 2 years, recommendation for promotion by provincial RDO and PFF Assessor, Should have passed Grade I, Good technical skills, Good physical fitness, Must be physically and mentally fit, Knows the laws of the game.

Stage/Matches:  District, University, Provincial level, PFFL, Challenge Cup and PPL and International matches, Referees stay before retirement from FIFA list or age below 48 years old

Promotion Creative Assessment:  1st year two assessments by PFF RDO/Assessor, 2nd year two assessments by PFF RDO/Assessor, FIFA Assistant Referee promoted to FIFA Referee list but after one year break from FIFA International Referees list, Referee Log book must be checked by Assessor.

FIFA Assistant Referee

Age:  23-38 years

Educational Qualification:  FA (preference given to higher education), good communication skill, Computer knowledge

Sports Qualification/Courses:  National A grade and FIFA MA course, International physical fitness test, Medical Fitness Exam

Skill/Experience:  good refereeing record in last 2 years, recommendation for promotion by provincial RDO and PFF Assessor, Should have passed Grade A, Good technical skills, Good physical fitness, Must be physically and mentally fit, Knows the laws of the game.

Stage/Matches:  District, University, Provincial level, PFFL, Challenge Cup and PPL and International matches, Referees stay before retirement from FIFA list or age below 45 years old

Promotion Creative Assessment:  1st year two assessments by PFF RDO/Assessor, 2nd year two assessments by PFF RDO/Assessor, FIFA Assistant Referee promoted to FIFA Referee list but after one year break from FIFA International Referees list, Referee Log book must be checked by Assessor.

PFF Referee Elite Panel (Domestic Level)

Age:  25-50 years

Educational Qualification:  FA & BA (preference given to higher education), good communication skill, Computer knowledge

Sports Qualification/Courses:  National A grade and FIFA MA courses, National physical test, Medical Fitness Exam

Skill/Experience:  good refereeing record in last 2 years, recommendation for promotion by provincial RDO and PFF Assessor, Should have passed Grade A, Good technical skills, Good physical fitness, Must be physically and mentally fit, Knows the laws of the game.

PFF Referee Grade A (National Level)

Age:  22-30 years

Educational Qualification:  FA (preference given to higher education), good communication skill, Computer knowledge

Sports Qualification/Courses:  National A grade and FIFA MA course, National physical test, Medical Fitness Exam

Skill/Experience:  good refereeing record in last 2 years, recommendation for promotion by provincial RDO and PFF Assessor, Should have passed Grade A, Good technical skills, Good physical fitness, Must be physically and mentally fit, Knows the laws of the game.

Stage/Matches:  District, University, Provincial level, PFFL, Challenge Cup and PPL matches, Minimum 40 matches, Will have to reappear if fails in assessment

Promotion Creative Assessment:  1st year two assessments by PFF RDO/Assessor, 2nd year two assessments by PFF RDO/Assessor, Referee Log book must be checked by Assessor.

Referee Grade B (Provincial Level)

Age:  20-25 years

Educational Qualification:  Matric/FA (preference given to higher education), good communication skill, Computer knowledge

Sports Qualification/Courses:  National B Class course, National physical test , Medical Fitness Exam

Skill/Experience:  good refereeing record in last 2 years, recommendation for promotion by provincial RDO and PFF Assessor, Should have grade B license, Good technical skills, Good physical fitness,Must be physically and mentally fit, Knows the laws of the game

Stage/Matches:  District, School, College, Universities and provincial level, Minimum 40 matches, Will have to reappear if fails in assessment

Promotion Creative Assessment:  1st year two assessments by provincial RDO/Assessor, 2nd year two assessments by provincial RDO/Assessor, Referee Log book must be checked by provincial RDO/Assessor

PFF Referee Grade C (District Level)

Age:  18-23 years

Educational Qualification:  Matric (preference given to higher education), good communication skill, Computer knowledge

Sports Qualification/Courses:  Any sports, preference to on the field football certifications, Talent acceleration course/Grass roots, National physical test, Medical fitness exam

Skill/Experience:  Football background, must be physically and mentally fit, Understands laws of the game, should have passed C grade

Stage/Matches:  (School,College,District and Women Inter Club), Minimum 30 matches , If referee fails in assessment then he/she will have to reappear

Promotion Creative Assessment:  1st year two assessments by provincial RDO/Assessor, 2nd year two assessments by provincial RDO/Assessor, Referee Log book must be checked by provincial RDO/Assessor

Fast Track (AFC project referees - PFF future fast track program)

Age:  18-25 years

Educational Qualification:  FA (preference given to higher education), good communication skill, Computer knowledge

Sports Qualification/Courses:  any sports, preference to football background, Talent Acceleration Course/ Grass roots, National Physical Test, Medical Fitness Test.

Skill/Experience:  Having good football background, must be physically & mentally fit,musthave knowledge about the laws of the game

Stage/Matches:  School, College, District, Provincial and Women Inter Club matches, Minimum 20 matches

Promotion Creative Assessment:  Recommended and selected by PFF RDO's or Qualified Assessors
